5 reasons Why Mamta Banerjee won in West Bengal and defeat BJP

Weakness of Modi and Amit Shah in Bengal election and Victory of Mamta Banerjee

Though the BJP had set a target of winning more than 200 seats of the 292 which went to poll. What were the reasons that after the power campaigning of PM Modi and Amit Shah influence totally failed in West Bengal. What will be weakness of BJP to getting big loss against Mamta Banerjee. Here are the five reasons Why TMC won the 2021 West Bengal election. The first reason is-

Women in favor of Mamta Benerjee– West Bengal has 3.5 crore population of women voters which are 49 percent of the total electorate. Mamta Benergee has implemented 200 women centric schemes for the welfare of women empowerment like as Kanyashree, Rupashree, Sabooj Sathi. The strong point of Didi it was that he is also’ Daughter of Bengal.’
Muslim Population– Bengal have 30 percent of Muslim community population such as Murshidabad, Malda and South Dinjpur districts. Since 2011 assembly election they have voted for the TMC. TMC govt. gave them stipend 2500 to about 60000 imams and muezzins and also offered Muslim reservation.

3. Sympathy for Mamta– Mamta Benergee apparently succeeded in winning the sympathy of Bengal public. She was seen as a lonely woman taking on the aggressive campaign of the BJP led by Modi and Amit Shah. PM Modi speech during campaigning ‘Didi, o didi’ was used and TMC spread this word as a weakness of women, in West Bengal public. Mamta’s fractured leg also helped her gain sympathy.

4. Covid 19– TMC blamed Modi Government to second wave of Corona. BJP failed to counter attack of Covid 19 pandemic. Lack of oxygen and vaccination also prime reason which ahead to TMC government.

5. Congress walkover– Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi kept away most of the West Bengal elections. Rahul Gandhi started campaigning during fifth phase of the election. To walkover of the Congress helped Mamta Banergee to win election because all anti TMC votes did not split in absence of Congress.
