China support to India amid Covid 19 surge

Oxygen concentrators, amongst different items, for India in panic situation- China.

India has 3,79,257 active cases today and 3645 deaths with the fatality of Corona virus. So amid these panic situation China pledges support to India amid Covid 19 surge. China foreign minister Wang YI on Thursday sent a message to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar reiterating China support to India. A large number of goods are in the process of being sourced from China, including Oxygen concentrators, on a commercial basis. As a result of first batch of 800 oxygen concentrators reached India from Hong Kong.

Further China’s ambassador to India Sun Weidong said on Wednesday that Chinese medical suppliers are working overtime on orders from India. Most importantly, at least 25000 orders from oxygen concentrators reached in recent days. Mr. Sun shared a message saying that the Chinese side shares empathy for the challenges facing India and expresses sincere sympathy. Adding that the international community needs solidarity and coordination for a concerned response.

Pakistan based Edhi welfare Trust offers to send 50 ambulances to India to help fight Covid surge

On the other hand Pakistan’s philanthropist organization Edhi Welfare Trust offered to send 50 ambulances and support staff to India to help the country. Head of the Organization wrote a letter to Prime Minister Modi that ” We are very sorry to hear about the exceptionally heavy impact that the pandemic has had on your country. Moreover people are suffering from immensely. In this difficult time we are offering 50 ambulances and staff to help the people of India.
